Beer Brewing

Beer is brewed from the start to finish at the Mariacki Brewery. Because we create the recipes and select the ingredients ourselves, we are sure that our beer is of exceptional quality. In addition to our classic Pils, Wheat and AIPA, our brewer ensures that our menu includes two unique styles selected to match the season. Currently, these are the summer ones: Pineapple Wheat and Lemongrass Gose.

Pils

​​Pilsner-style lager beer whose origins date back to the mid-19th century. In our Pils we confront barley malt with the best varieties of hops from Polish and Czech plantations. Complex maltiness, strong bitterness, floral hop aromas and bottom fermentation are the hallmarks of this beer.

WHEAT

A lager beer in the Bavarian Hefe-Weizen style, whose history dates back several hundreds years. Wheat malt is the basic of this beer, but it is a special strain of top-fermenting yeast that gives it characteristics such as turbidity and a clove-banana flavour. Complementing this beer is a subtle hop bitterness.

AIPA

A lager in the American India Pale Ale style, this beer is emblematic of the ongoing beer revolution around the world. With a solid malt structure, it holds a wealth of bitterness, flavours and aromas from American hops. The beer is characterised by notes of citrus, resin, flowers and tropical fruits. To enhance the aroma, the beer has been cold hopped during lagering.

American Brut Strong Ale

The Devil from Mariacka Street is a hellishly strong, dry, bright beer containing 11% alcohol. The beer is a combination of two beer styles: Brut IPA and Belgian Golden Strong Ale, and the final effect is American Brut Strong Ale. The beer was made from Pilsner malt, sugar and deep fermenting yeast. The hop side is provided by American Citra hops.

Cherry-Hibiscus Ale

Pink barley beer with the addition of cherries and hibiscus flowers. The production of this beer was divided into two main stages. During the boiling of the wort, hibiscus petals were added, responsible for the color and characteristic sour taste. The main motif of this beer, however, are cherries added during the maturation process, giving a fruity aroma and taste. The beer is hopped very lightly, thanks to which the cherries and hibiscus are in the foreground.
